
The Woodridge Rotary Club with a grant from American Water and District 6450 and help from the Woodridge Park District and many volunteers, planted a butterfly garden at 83rd street park.


83rd St. Pollinator Garden
What a wonderful morning planting the 83rd st Pollinator Garden yesterday. The Girl Scout and Brownie troop 55780 along with the Knitter Sisters and Olivia did a fabulous job planting for 2 1/2 hours .Thanks to the Woodridge Park District- Mike Adams, Jenny, Chris, Ryan, and Colleen and Bruce Blake from Prairie Winds Native Plants. Thank you -Western Remac, Serge Ruffolo for making this beautiful sign. A special thanks goes out to Illinois American Water for their grant to fund this project , The dream of this garden finally became a reality. A tornado couldn’t stop us!
