This was by far the most successful Rotary Club fundraising Gala

The support, participation and attendance by the community was extraordinary. We are overwhelmed by the generosity of our community .

On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, the Woodridge Rotary Club hosted their 3rd Annual Holiday Gala. "The support, participation and attendance by the community was extraordinary this year," comments Rich Moore, Fundraising Chair for the Woodridge Rotary Club, owner of Shanahan's Food & Spirits and Premium Sponsor for the Gala. "We are overwhelmed by the generosity of our community. This was by far the most successful fundraising event in the history of our club," continues Moore.

This event marks a special partnership between NAMI DuPage and the Woodridge Rotary Club. In addition, a portion of the proceeds will support local needs in the Woodridge community.

NAMI DuPage is a non-profit organization supporting individuals and families affected by mental illness through education, advocacy, and free or low-cost programs like support groups, workshops, and social activities. It works to reduce stigma, promote recovery, and empower individuals while collaborating with schools, workplaces, and healthcare providers to spread awareness and resources. Geri Kerger, Executive Director of NAMI DuPage delivered a presentation that touched all those in attendance.

The Woodridge Rotary was honored that this event was supported and attended by VFW Post 1578, Mayor Gina Cunningham and representatives from the Village of Woodridge, Mayor Joseph Marchese of Darien, Dupage County Chair Deborah Conroy and members of the DuPage County Board, Pastor Mark Cote and members of St. Scholastica Catholic Church and so many more!
